One bank and three hospitality companies are paving the way in the use of employee engagement to be competitive and agile to changing needs in Indonesia.
Best Employers are companies that gone beyond others to spark change, inspire their employees, and accelerate business success.
They scored best in four measurable 'people factors' that include employee engagement, organizational agility, engaging leadership, and talent focus.
“Best Employers are creating the workplace of the future through their high employee engagement levels, strong organizational agility, engaging leadership, and exceptional talent focus," said Stephen Hickey, culture & engagement APMEA practice leader at Kincentric.
Kincentric believes a highly-engaged workforce can help companies weather the economic uncertainty and adapt quickly in Indonesia. Ninety-one percent of employees in Best Employers see their companies as highly agile, innovative, inclusive, and responsive to changing needs (compared to 72% market average). Furthermore, 89% of these employees agree that their senior leadership has communicated a clear vision for the organization (compared to 72% market average).
Creating a healthy learning environment is another critical feature of Best Employers. The study noted that 92% of employees in these companies believed that their organizations are supportive of their learning and development (compared to 77% market average).
The four Best Employers clearly understood the significant advantages in driving employee engagement, such as improving the bottom line and the customer experience. They are also setting the foundations for other Indonesian companies to make employee experience their business advantage.
